Hikmah #1431

“May those who keep the subuh prayer with keeping their

heart empty from anything but Allah will be with Abraham.”

Hikmah #1432

“And may those who keep the five time prayers

with keeping their heart empty from anything

but Allah will be with all prophets of Allah.”

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger – those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions. That is the bounty from Allah , and sufficient is Allah as Knower.”

( Surat An-Nisaa’ verse 69-70 )

 

Hikmah #1433

“Moses and Aaron took the prayers time of Abraham (subuh),

Isaac (a’sr), Jacob (maghrib) and Joseph (isha) for themselves

and prayed at least three-time a day and ordered their people

to pray like them but most of their people did not follow them.”

“And Joshua followed the prayers time of Moses and ordered

his people to pray like him but only few people followed him.”

“And Samson, who did not live during Joshua’s time, followed

the prayers time of Joshua and ordered his people to pray at

least once a day but no one followed him during his lifetime.”

“Eli, who was more than forty years older than Samson, also

followed Joshua’s prayers time and ordered his people to pray

like him but only some people followed him including Hannah.”

“And Samuel, the son of Hannah, followed Eli’s prayers time

and ordered his sons to pray like him but they neglected him.”

“And David followed the prayers time of Samuel and prayed at

dawn (subuh), during afternoon (a’sr) and evening (maghrib)

regularly and often prayed during night, midnight and late night.”

“And when My servants ask you, concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.”

( Surat Al-Baqarah verse 186 )

 

Hikmah #1439

“And Solomon followed David, Elijah followed Solomon, Elisha followed

Elijah, Jonah followed Elisha, Zechariah followed Jonah, John followed

Zechariah, and Jesus Christ followed John the Baptist and sleep a little,

often prayed most of his night, and also loved to pray during noontime.”

Hikmah #1440

“And Muhammad (saws) took the prayers time of Jesus Christ

which include the five pillar prayers time of Abraham (subuh),

Ishmael (zhuhur), Isaac (a’sr), Jacob (maghrib) and Joseph (isha)

and no one prayed as much but moderate as Muhammad (saws).”

“And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah. That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.”

( Surat Yusuf verse 38 )
