“No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah. In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.”

“Yet the man from the east never finds himself
better than al-Hallaj, al-Ghazali, Abdul-Qadir
Gilani, Ibn Arabi, Jalaluddin Rumi, Siti Jenar or
any other saint of God since all what he does
are not based on his own ability but because
it is already God’s Will that the man from the
east can do that before He created the world.”
