Hikmah #411

“It is neither the words nor the beautiful peacefulness

but the the Light of God Himself that shines through

either the words or the beautiful peacefulness of the

ego-less ones that draw people from near and far to God.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“If Allah would love his servant He would call Archangel Jibraeel (Gabriel) and tell him “I love this person, therefore love him.” And Jibraeel would love him and call out in the heavens “Allah loves this person, therefore love him.” And the inhabitants of the heavens would love him. Then he would be embraced by the people of this world.”

~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam (Sahih Muslim)

Hikmah #412

“Be nothing, be zero and everything from God will spread through you.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

Tabarani has related from Abu Utbah al-Khawlaanee (r) from RasulAllah (SWS) that, “Truly, Allah has vessels from amongst the people of the earth, and the vessels of your Lord are the hearts of his righteous slaves, and the most beloved of them to Him are the softest and most tender ones.”

~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam, Al-Albani rates this hadith mentioned as Hasan [Sahih al-Jami al-Saghir, no. 2163; Silsilah al-Ahadith al-Sahihah, no. 1691]

Hikmah #413

“If you want to help God be ego-less (fanafillah)

then God will help the world through you

that is the way of Jesus Christ, the last Prophet

Muhammad (SWS) and all saints of God (Awliya).”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“But when Isa (Jesus) felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, “Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?” The disciples said,” We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are “Submitting to Your Will” (or translated in Arabic as: “Muslim”).”

( Surat ‘Aali I’mraan verse 52 )

Hikmah #414

“The biggest enemy of peace is the ego

Be ego-less then you will become a true fighter of Peace.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.”

( Surat Yuunus verse 25 )

Hikmah #415

“To become fanafillah is difficult unless one annihilates himself/herself in

those who had already become fanafillah like the prophets and the Awliya

That is the secret of Uways al-Qarani (r) who annihilated himself in his

beloved master, the last Prophet Muhammad (SWS), throughout his life.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

Usayr bin Jabir (r) reported that a delegation from Kufa came to ‘Umar and there was a person amongst them who jeered at Uways. Thereupon Umar (r) said: Is there amongst us one from Qaran? That person came and Umar said: Verily Allah’s Messenger (SWS) has said: “There would come to you a person from Yemen who would be called Uways and he would leave none in Yemen (behind him) except his mother, and he would have the whiteness (due to leprosy) and he supplicated Allah and it was cured except for the size of a dinar or dirham. He who amongst you meets him should ask him to supplicate for forgiveness (from Allah) for you.”

~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam [Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6170]

‘Umar bin Khattab (r) reported: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) as saying: “Worthy amongst the successors would be a person who would be called Uways. He would have his mother (living with him) and he would have (a small) sign of leprosy. Ask him to beg pardon for you (from Allah).”

~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam [Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6171]

Usayr bin Jabir (r) reported that when people from Yemen came to help (the Muslim army at the time of jihad) he asked them: Is there amongst you Uways bin ‘Amir? (He continued finding him out) until he met Uways. He said: Are you Uways bin Amir? He said: Yes. He said: Are you from the tribe of Qaran? He said: Yes. He (Hadrat) ‘Umar (again) said: Did you suffer from leprosy and then you were cured from it but for the space of a dirham? He said: Yes. He (‘Umar) said: Is your mother (living)? He said: Yes. He (‘Umar) said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) say: There would come to you Uways bin Amir with the reinforcement from the people of Yemen. (He would be) from Qaran, (the branch) of Murid. He had been suffering from leprosy from which he was cured but for a spot of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been excellent. If he were to take an oath in the name of Allah, He would honour that. And if it is possible for you, then do ask him to beg forgiveness for you (from your Lord). So he (Uways) begged forgiveness for him. Umar said: Where do you intend to go? He said: To Kufa. He (‘Umar) said: Let me write a letter for you to its governor, whereupon he (Uways) said: I love to live amongst the poor people. When it was the next year, a person from among the elite (of Kufa) performed Hajj and he met Umar. He asked him about Uways. He said: I left him in a state with meagre means of sustenance. (Thereupon) Umar said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) as saying: There would come to you Uways bin ‘Amir, of Qaran, a branch (of the tribe) of Murid, along with the reinforcement of the people of Yemen. He had been suffering from leprosy which would have been cured but for the space of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been very kind. If he would take an oath in the name of Allah (for something) He would honour it. Ask him to beg forgiveness for you (from Allah) in case it is possible for you. So he came to Uways and said: Beg forgiveness (from Allah) for me. He (Uways) said: You have just come from a sacred journey (Hajj); you, therefore, ask forgiveness for me. He (the person who had performed Hajj) said: Ask forgiveness for me (from Allah). He (Uways again) said: You have just come from the sacred journey, so you ask forgiveness for me. (Uways further) said: Did you meet Umar? He said: Yes. He (Uways) then begged forgiveness for him (from Allah). So the people came to know about (the status of religious piety) of Uways. He went away (from that place). Usayr said: His clothing consisted of a mantle (the mantle of the Prophet Muhammad [SWS]), and whosoever saw him said: From where did Uways get this mantle?”

~ Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6172

Hikmah #416

“Try the best to become humble, truthful, sincere, zuhud and fanafillah

And if it is hard to do so then annihilate yourself in the prophets either in

Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus or Muhammad (sws)

And you will become humble, truthful, sincere, zuhud, fanafillah like them.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“And the servants of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of Peace.”

( Surat Al-Furqaan verse 63 )

Hikmah #417

“Whoever annihilates himself in Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r),

He also annihilates himself in Abraham, Jesus Christ and Muhammad (sws).”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“[Abraham said: ] And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, Except him who brings to Allah a clean pure egoless peaceful (saleem) heart.”

( Ash-Shu’araa’ verse 87 – 89 )

Hikmah #418

“Whoever annihilates himself in Shah e-Mardan Ali (kw),

He also annihilates himself in Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael,

Moses, Jesus Christ and the last Prophet Muhammad (sws)

The Prophet (sws) said, he who wants to see Noah in his determination,

Adam in his knowledge, Abraham in his clemency, Moses in his intellect

and Jesus in his worship should look at Ali Ibn Abi Talib (kw).”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395H – )

Hikmah #419

“If you are a woman, you can annihilate yourself either in

Asiya, Pharaoh’s wife in the time of Moses, or the Virgin Mary

And whoever woman annihilates herself in Rabaa Al-Adawiya (qs)

She also annihilates herself in the Virgin Mary and Asiya.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari (r): The Prophet (SWS) said, “Many men reached (spiritual) perfection but none among the women (before the time of Muhammad saws) reached (spiritual) perfection except Maryam (Mariam/ Maria/ Mary), the daughter of I’mran, and Asiya, Pharaoh’s wife (in the time of Moses as).

~ Sayyidina Muhammad (SWS) [Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 7, Book 65, Number 329]

Hikmah #420

“If you see in a man or in a woman spiritually, the face of either

a prophet or a awliya Allah, that is so because they annihilate

themselves in either a prophet or a awliya Allah

By annihilating themselves, after entering the station (maqam)

of Zuhud, in either a prophet or a awliya Allah, it becomes easier

for them to enter the station of Fanafillah and Baqabillah

No one can enter the station of Fanafillah and Baqabillah

except with God’s Mercy and Permission.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed.”

( Surat Al-Ma’idaah verse 35 )
