and Imam al-Askari were in house arrest.”

after Nabi Muhammad ( saws ) were:

3. Imam Hussayn Ibn Ali (625-680)
4. Imam Ali Zaynal Abidin (659-713)
5. Imam Muhammad Baqir (677-733)
6. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (702-765)
7. Imam Musa al-Kazim (745-799)
8. Imam Ali ar-Rida (765-818)
9. Imam Muhammad al-Jawad
10. Imam Ali al-Hadi (828-848)
11. Imam Muhammad an-Naqib
12. Imam Isa ar-Rumi an-Naqib.”

It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samura who said:
“I went with my father to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and I heard him say: This religion would continue to remain powerful and dominant (not corrupted by political worldly ambition) until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then he added something which I couldn’t catch on account of the noise of the people. I asked my father: What did he say? My father said: He has said that all of them will be from the Quraish.”
