Hikmah #1391
“Keep the heart clean from anything but God, the One, then
to fast the ears, mouth, tongue, eyes, hands, feet, mind and
soul from all that God forbids is easy and so very delightful.”

Abu Umaamah (ra) said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah (saws), tell me of an action by which I may enter Paradise’. He (saws) said: ‘Take to Fasting, there is nothing like it.’ “

“Fasting of the ears is greater than fasting of the stomach
Fasting of the tongue is greater than fasting of the ears
Fasting of the eyes is greater than fasting of the tongue
Fasting of the mind is greater than fasting of the eyes
Fasting of the soul is greater than fasting of the mind
Fasting of the heart is greater than fasting of the soul.”

whole body will fast to God gratefully and easily for you.”

“All true Lovers of God have a heart like
Adam, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Joseph,
Job, John or Jesus Christ, which is calm,
patient and in peace even in big trouble,
heavy test and long hardship because it
is empty from anything except Allah, the
Ultimate Source of Peace and Happiness.”

“No doubt! Verily, the Awliya’ of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and were fearing Allah. For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah, this is indeed the supreme success.”
