Imam Abu Nu’aym in Hilyat al-a’wliya’ and Imam Ibn A’sakir narrated from A’bdullah ibn Mas’ud (Radi Allahu ta’ala a’nhu) that the Most Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta’ala a’layhi wa Sallam) says;

“Undoubtedly there are 300 A’wliya’ (friend) of Allah within his creature and their hearts are the heart of Adam (alaihis salaam) and the hearts of 40 are like the heart of Musa (a’layhis salaam) and the hearts of the seven are like the heart of Ibrahim (a’layhis salaam) and the heart of the five are like the heart of Jibra’il (a’layhis salaam) and the hearts of the three are like the heart of Mika’il (a’layhis salaam) and the heart of one is like the heart of Israfeel (a’layhis salaam). When that one (whose heart is like the heart of Israfeel) dies the one among of three made his representative and when someone dies among these three the one among five is made his representative and when someone dies from five the one among the seven is made his representative and when someone dies from seven the one among the forty is made his representative and when someone dies from the forty the one among the three hundred is made his representative and when someone dies from the three hundred the one among the general creature is made his representative. These are the 356 Awliya due to them the life, death, raining and the growing of the plant is happened.”

While in another occasion, the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Forty of my followers will always be on earth whose heart will be like the heart of (prophet) Ibrahim (as).” [Tabrani, narrated by Ibn Mas’ud RA]. What does it mean? It means that in every generation there are always 7 (Seven) Wali Abdal whose heart will be like the heart of (prophet) Ibrahim (as) and 33 (thirty three) Wali Abdal whose heart will combine the heart/characters of Ibrahim and Musa (as) in one person, AND there are always 7 (Seven) Wali Allah whose heart will be purely like the heart/character of Musa (as). Among the Companion, Salman al-Farsi (ra) and A’li bin Abi Talib were two of the forty Wali Abdal. Besides his heart was like the combination of the hearts/characters of Ibrahim and Musa (as), A’li bin Abi Talib’s heart was also like the combination of the hearts/characters of Adam, Nuuh/Noah and Isa/Jesus.

The Messenger of Allah (sal) said: “He who wants to see Noah (a’layhi as-salam) in his determination, Adam (as) in his knowledge, Abraham/Ibrahim (as) in his clemency, Moses/Musa (as) in his intelligence and Jesus/Isa (as) in his worship should look at A’li Ibn Abi Talib (kw).”

“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.”

( Surat An-Nuur verse 55 )

[In Bahasa]

Hikmah #202

“True strength lies in faith

True power lies in fanafillah,

which is egoless in God’s presence

Strength cannot exceed power

But power can exceed strength

Power = Strength x Speed

Light of Faith is the Strength

Motion of good deeds per time is the Speed

Spiritual Power = Light of Faith x Motion of good deeds per time

And Love is the Power

And the greatest Love is in Fanafillah

So, the Greatest Spiritual Power is Fanafillah

Fanafillah = Greatest Light of Faith x Maximum Motion of good deeds per time

The greatest Light of Faith is in doing everything due to God alone

The maximum Motion of good deeds per time occurs in egolessness in God’s presence

Fanafillah = Doing everything due to God x Egolessness in God’s presence

generating an infinite spiritual power.”

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )

“Kekuatan Hakiki terletak pada iman

Daya Hakiki terletak pada fanafillah,

yaitu tak ber-ego dalam hadirat Allah

Kekuatan tidak bisa melampaui daya

Tapi daya dapat melampaui kekuatan

Daya = Kekuatan x Kecepatan

Daya Ruhani = Cahaya Iman x Pergerakan Amal Saleh per Waktu

Dan Cinta adalah Daya

Dan Cinta terbesar ada pada Fanafillah

Maka, Daya Ruhani terbesar adalah Fanafillah

Fanafillah = Cahaya Terbesar Iman x Pergerakan Maksimum Amal Saleh per Waktu

~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Muharam 5, 1395AH – )

“And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged. And they say, “When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?” Say, “I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].”

( Surat Yuunus verses 47-49 )

“And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah.”

( Surat Yuunus, verses 99-100 )

“And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers (who were NOT Prophets) came to it – When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “Indeed, we are messengers to you.” They said, “You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies.” They said, “Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you, And we are not responsible except for clear notification.”

( Surat Yaa-Siin verses 13-17 )

“And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

( Surat ‘Ibrahim verse 4 )

[In Bahasa]

( QS ‘Ibrahim ayat ke-4 )
